Awards & Commendations for Enkelt

Scottish Construction Centre September 2009:

In the September 2009 Newsletter, the SCC announced that "Recently several projects have been accepted by the expert advisory panel on board the demonstration project programme and will progress to the presentation stage in the coming months." Ballyconnelly - Enkelt simple living is one of these projects.

 

Sustain Magazine Awards 2009:

Property and the Built Environment - The development at Queen St. Dunoon was a finalist in March for two separate awards in one of the UK's most prized award ceremonies for sustainable development.

The company was short listed in two categories, " Award for Construction " and " Award for Development " with the SIPs-based Enkelt Simple Living design.

The winner was announced at a gala dinner on the first night of the Ecobuild exhibition at Earls Court on the 3rd March 2009.

 
Herald Property Awards for 2008:
 Enkelt simple living won the Best High Performance Home category. This prestigious award recognizes the energy efficiency and eco values of our homes.

Professor James Sommerville, Chair of the Judging Panel for The Herald's Property Awards for Scotland 2008 said:
"Enkelt Living was described as a breath of fresh air by our panel. This is an excellent example of a sustainable home, with strong recycling policies, minimum construction waste and an efficient heat recovery system".
